Dr. Sharnjeet Kahlon

Dr. Kahlon is Royal College certified Internal Medicine specialist and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia. She is an internist at Surrey Memorial Hospital and Royal Columbian Hospital where she has an active inpatient role and supervises medical learners. Dr. Kahlon has developed an expertise in Obesity management and cardiovascular risk stratification and has undertaken extra medical education to support this role. In addition to her clinical practice, she has held leadership positions to develop a robust Internal Medicine program at Surrey Memorial Hospital.

Her research interests and publications include obesity and its impact on patient outcomes as well as reviewing frailty and patient care.

Dr. Kahlon is a certified Obesity Medicine specialist through the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She is dedicated to empathic, quality driven medical management and is a strong advocate for patient centered care.
